Awwwww, Lyn - you're a cutie.  How old were you in this one?  PS - I still haven't seen Paul's new pic that you've all talked about.

Thank you Diana, and hope all of you enjoy your extended celebrations, by the looks of it.   It also appears things were discussed even longer that i'd thought, as most of the delagates didn't sign until August 2nd. And of the two men you mentioned yourself; Mr Adams and Mr Jefferson being the only 2 who did sign the Dec. of Independence that became Presidents, and oddly, on it's 50th Anniversary, 4th July, 1826, both men passed away.

Have a safe weekend while you celebrate leaving us behind in one way or another.

Seriously, I have some very dear American friends I wouldn't swap al the tea in Boston for; well, what remained of it anyway. Smile

I haven't seen the new pic myself neither ( as usual ) if you're reffering to my avatar change. If not, I did try to alter it, but still haven't seen it. Taken in the US when I was 16.

Lyn,  I (and many of my friends) had the same bowl shaped hair cut when we were little!  What was that about? LOL!

I don't know why Diana, but when I was very small my mum used to put rags in my sisters and my hair to make it curly (or should I say frizzy!), it was agony lol and by the time lunchtime came our hair was still as straight as a yard of pumpwater as my mum used to say. Ah the good old days LOL

LOL @ Lyn! My mum used to send me next door to Mrs Baxter, and for a shilling I would come away with the bowl on my head.  Ah, the good old days!
