My mum used to get us those big gobstoppers. They were too big to get in my mouth, but she used to help by hitting them in with a hammer. Kept us all quiet for days. He he he. |

I couldn't find anything comparable here so I found an online store that sells them as well as other British sweets. Very nice. I've ordered the pear drops several times. I'm not much of a cook so I also ordered a packet of mix from them to make a custard. Forget the name of the brand, but it was very tasty. I also have a cake of some sort in a can that I've yet to attempt to make, but it sounded interesting. |
