I remember spangles, refreshers and rainbow caylie (not sure about spelling) which turned your finger yellow.I was more of a chocolate fan - bar six and proper sized creme eggs (they've shrunk them you know)! We live near Hunnington where they used to make Blue Bird toffee - used to love to go to the Blue bird toffee shop opposite the factory and get fabulous tins really cheap that were sold usually only in posh shops like Harrods! |

There is still alot of old sweet shops round here selling the old sweets - Teddy Grays from Dudley being the main one - they have a shop at Bewdley aswell. There is a brilliant sweet shop in the Black Country museum! |
