How about Soor Plooms, Sweet Tobacco, Sticky Lice and Locust?

My mum used to buy me the odd bar of Five Boys too.

You guys must be older than me, as I don't remember any of those, Rod.

I do remember getting pretend (sugar) cigarettes at Christmas time. And then my mum wondered why I started to smoke at 13 (gave up at 15).

Yes, I'm getting aged now, and despite the Spangles, Pear Drops and countless other sweets, I'm still gnashing away on solids with my own peggies!

Bought some Soor Plooms last year in Edinburgh and they still taste jolly good. Must get some more.

Nurse!

I've never heard of Soor Plooms before, and I'm pretty aged too!  Is that the proper name?

How about Refreshers and Parma Violet.

Soor Plooms taste of sour plums and are green boiled sweets.

Haven't seen Caramac for years, and as I recall it tasted like toffee and probably was disgusting but I liked it then! Sugar mice? Anyone rember them? They truly were awful.
