Noggin is a slang word meaning head, Mick. Sounds like kind of a Dickens word to me.  I thought surely it was of British origin.

Noggin the Nog was a character in a children’s TV program, I’m sure. Was it Caption Pugwash or Thomas the Tank Engine?  I’m thinking our friends in the USA wouldn’t have a clue what were on about but I could be wrong. Captain Pugwash was a real villain
