And about time too.

All these Americans driving around in an English car, when it's me (I'm English living in America for those of you who don't know me yet) who should be driving one.

Any way, I wanted a British Racing Green one with a Union Jack on the top but I ended up not ordering one new (and waiting four months for it to arrive) and bought a Red 2006  from a dealer in Reno (nearest Mini dealer is in Sacramento California, or Salt Lake City, Utah).

I can order some Union Jack additions which I will do now I'm home, but can't get one on the top as I have a sun roof.

Pretty exciting yeah!

I know, I know, it's BMW, but it's still a Mini which is quintessentially ENGLISH.

I see Mini Coopers everywhere here in the US!!  It's the latest thing to have....and I must confess, I want one...but wanted it long before they were popular!!

Have fun driving it!!

And John Cooper was quintessentially English too and was advisor to the MINI design team for his namesake model.

I'll take pictures just as soon as I regester her and get my personalized plates, which will be TRUBIRT if the person in Las Vegas has relinquished them. If not, it will have to be AWIE, which means Little Bird in Quenyan.
