church. I sang Jerusalem, nice and English.

How many of you can sing? If you can't sing, what is your special talent? Don't be shy, everyone has a talent or two. Go ahead and share.

Funny Sue, how I was only discussing the first verse of that poem/hymn just the other day. Any special talent--can't readily think of anything.

I'm in the same boat as you, Lyn, talent-wise.  But at least you can make a great Sunday dinner.

Hi Sue:  I had neve heard the song Jerusalem before, so I googled it and it had the lyrics.  That must be where the phrase green and pleasant land came from.

Yes Ruth, and they always sing it at the Proms, I must admit I like that song, makes you feel proud to be English.

Everybody has a talent. It doesn't have to be one of the regular ones you think of when you think of talents, like painter, musician, but simple every day ones like cooking, baking, indoor hang gliding and the like. Being able to listen to someone is a talent.

Come on now, don't be shy.

A man of many talents, Paul..and hiding your light under a bushel!!  For what it's worth, I can sing a fair note or two ( I love singing) and I am gradually learning to paint watercolours that are not all binners!  Jerusalem is a beautiful song and should be the English national anthem.Smile
