The last CD I got was gifted to me by a friend. It is of one of the Osmond concerts I went to in Cardiff, Wales in May of this year.

I like harp, classical, Queen, Motown, Soul, 60' & 70's music. Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera and War of the Worlds. I'm all over the place aren't I.

I am often fed a dose of acid rock (I think that's what it's called, who knows!) by my boys, and a few of the tracks are catchy, but I certainly wouldn't choose it to listen to otherwise.

Right now I am playing the extended version from the Lord of the Rings movies, I'm about through with Fellowship of the Ring, and it's been on all morning while I've been cleaning.

Last CD was a recent 60s tracks set that had, amazingly, 2 tracks from The Association.  Was bought up around a lot of big band music, notably Ted Heath, Count Bassie, Benny Goodman, Buddy Rich, and my dad's own LP's etc. and also jazz, mostly Dave Brubeck and jazz guitar of Wes Montgomery. Like to listen to Glenn Miller in the car from time to time. A break from my usual favourites of Pink Floyd and Genesis. Favoutie big band sound is my dad's arrangement of The Peanut Vendor and Holiday For Strings.

No, I've never heard of "Lark Ascending". The title is definitely appealing. I will go look it up on Amazon.com.

We mentioned Loreena McKennitt in another thread, I like her too, as well as James Galway on the flute and The Chieftains.

Oh and Enya (she's just come on my LOTR music and reminded me).

I'm checking out "Lark Ascending" now. Too bad they don't have samples to listen to.

I can't tell you mine, it's too bad lol.  Talk about cheesy.

Some of my albums are Pink Floyd (Dark side of The Moon), Meatloaf (Bat out of Hell), Blondie (Best of), Deep Purple (Made in Japan), loads more, but too many to list.
