She is probably afraid of what will happen to her once this gets out and other parents hear of it. Would serve her right if they demanded her resignation; good thing you had a friend with your to collaborate your story Steph! I am glad that little Aaron is going to be alright, and that he is settling down from the trauma.

This has been so hard - I have always been a staunch supporter of our little school - even helped to save it from demolition a few years ago by challenging the Council's figures from an accountant's point of view and we won. I really don't need the hassle at the moment either but I know I have got to fight for some policy changes to ensure the safety of children on future trips. Trouble is Solomon has just got a place a the school and I have 7 years to stay there and don't want to isolate myself. Aaron says he never wants to leave us again. |

Had to take in my formal written complaint today. Aaron didn't want to leave me. Poor little lad- he is only 8. The other parents are fuming. One little boy (who was the accident witness) said he told the teachers Aaron's arm was broken but they wouldn't listen. His Mom had said not to be silly - the teachers would have taken him to hospital if it was broken - think he had more medical knowledge than the first aider! He didn't enjoy the stay either because he was worrying about Aaron crying all the time. Terry's poorly. Hope we turn the corner soon. |

But I want to also let you both know how much I admire you for sticking with it and not allowing the powers that be intimidate you or overwhelm you. You have a lot of guts and heart and are a super mom. It's tough, I know, but hang in there and everything will be fine, including Aaron. God bless.
