Many of the trees I have known since my childhood, and now I read that some foreign disease is going to wipe them out. I rally all my good POE friends to take pictures of the Horse Chestnut and post them here. The sad fact is that one day, all we may have left are our photos and fond memories. |

So I wikied it and I wish I could be in PA in my grandma's front yard. She had a huge horse chestnut tree and we spent many an hour as kids playing with them. Some places in America call them buckeyes. That's why Ohio is known as the Buckeye State. Sue, is this something like Dutch Elm disease? |
