You'd have more luck over here Cor; the train would have been cancelled anyway due to engineering works, leaves on the tracks, etc. Has that cured your fear now?

Yes completely Paul......... yeah right ;) They say ou have to confront yourself with your fears so you'll get over them. So every month I used to stop at a crossing, stop the engine and throw the keys out of the window. I persited in doing so and it always got away with that..... until I found out they were no longer using the track......

I used to hate dentists but years ago my doctor gave me something to calm my nerves - can't remember what but it worked.  I was so laid back that the next time I went I thought "it wasn't too bad the last time" and I've never been scared since.

I was never scared of injections but always fainted afterwards.  Could never understand why.  Now I've had so many that I'm quite blase about it now.  I had a blood test this afternoon and a giant of a man told me he'd only been doing this for a short while - "Thanks" I thought - but he was the most gentle person I'd ever had do it.

And I hear you about the spiders.  Most I can deal with except Daddy Long Leggers!!  I hate them!!

Krissy ..... I'm opposite to that - I couldn't pick up a spider if you paid me, but Danny Long Legs don't bother me a bit.

Me too Cor - but when I get to one I just go as fast as I can to get to the other side.

By the way, welcome to the forum Cor
