Little Bedwyn, Wiltshire.

Cor--maybe something of more practical use might be like here when I took this photo and the train comming at me was doing around 80MPH, and as it passed under a small bridge, it still seems darn close as I closed my eyes as it flew past underneath.

There is one near my mothers house and you never know if the train is coming!! There is no gate or lights!!  And it's on a steep hill so you have to get the nose of your car so close just to see if there is one!!!!  Very scary!!

My greatest fear is Gordon Brown winning the next General Election, aaaaaaaagh!!!! The only consolation being, he won't will he? Yippeeeeee!

As for you Peter, I have a nice bit of track that I could sit you on, guaranteed traffic an all!

Sue, I share this same fear for some unknown reason. In fact, it's so bad that if put in that situation I have a terrifying urge to jump, just so I can get down.  Needless to say, I avoid open heights like the plague. LOL!

I am not very fond of finding snakes in my garden or when walking in the bush, we have some pretty deadly ones here. Some of the spiders are scary too.Wink

Wolf, about 20 years ago while living in Sydney, I was sitting on the floor talking with friends and suddenly they all went stone silent and very pale.  When I asked what was wrong they shushed me and suddenly another friend who was behind me slammed a book on the floor causing me to jump.  Apparenly, not more than a foot away from me had been a female redback spider.

I am deathly afraid of spiders and to be so close to one that could have caused me great pain was not the most pleasent experience of my life!

I don't go a bundle on looking up/down lift/elevator shafts. Dread Christmas Day as it approaches, and Boxing Day (26th) is the best day of the year.

You dread Christmas Day?  Oh how sad!  I LOVE Christmas. Why do you dread it Paul, and why is Boxing Day the best day of the year?
