Whats for lunch?

this food thread is making me homesick.  i use to love Tesco's pork and apple sausage!

I think I shall make some boiled beef and carrots for dinner tomorrow. Mmmm yeh

Roses, I love fish and chips too, but I prefer haddock to cod. In Yorkshire, haddock is the norm, down south it's cod. I think Watford is too far inland to have REALLY fresh fish, so perhaps that's why they weren't as nice as I'm used to.

The last time I had good fish and chips was in England! LOL!

Our fish and chip shop at Burrill Lake has the best F & C. I have ever tasted even from England. I have found the best fish to be Blue Grenadier, but maybe that is only Australian .

The best tasting fish and chips I ever had was on a visit to Scarborough about 10 years ago.  I don't know if it's the sea air, or what it is, but fish eaten at the coast always have a better taste.  Maybe it's because they're fresher.
