If you'd like a wander around Tescos, Rose to see what's on offer, you can have a look in the store here  http://www.tesco.com/  And while you're wandering the aisles, could you pick up some Scotch eggs for Krissy and Diana?  Cheers. Smile

Roses, I love fish and chips too, but I prefer haddock to cod. In Yorkshire, haddock is the norm, down south it's cod. I think Watford is too far inland to have REALLY fresh fish, so perhaps that's why they weren't as nice as I'm used to.

Our fish and chip shop at Burrill Lake has the best F & C. I have ever tasted even from England. I have found the best fish to be Blue Grenadier, but maybe that is only Australian .Tongue out

The best tasting fish and chips I ever had was on a visit to Scarborough about 10 years ago.  I don't know if it's the sea air, or what it is, but fish eaten at the coast always have a better taste.  Maybe it's because they're fresher.
