I hope you like it..haven't been here long enough to know much about you. Can I ask you how far you live from St.Petersburg, Florida?

Christmas for the rest of you...oh yes, I've been busy on it for several weeks now...for one thing, I swtiched bedrooms with my grandson, and he now has my old room and it's going up with an Batman theme...yes, I have to make "Batman"Stained glass cookies for his Christmas Tree decor in this room. He has the tablecloth and the comforter set now...and "throw" blanket for the black leather office chair I use to have downstairs, and and "Batman" action figure in an wall unit/office desk piece of furniture that was downstairs also. So I imagine some PJ's might be fitting to go with htis also, and as for the littliest one he likes "Thomas and Friend's"the train set, and he's got a lot of it already, I'm adding "Lady" and the magical railroad, but having to spray paint the regular rail pieces with golden paint that has glitter in it...as it's not "buyable" out there in the stores, so when you see me with an holloween cookie cutter making "bats"and icing them over and putting in an "blue"raspberry center..I've not lost my mind people. It's an "Batman " theme to the tabletop tree and we will be putting an red tape ribbon he'll cut when the toom is finished. The grandaughter got "boots" and new clothes yesterday...they will all probably get movie tickets and McDonald's Gift certificates.  You know my daughter in-law is not working right now, as she just had an total hysterectomy...and between it and my own oral surgery from the dentist, we have been busy around here, so I HAD to start early..my hubby's birthday is Dec.30th an ususally we "do"something for it by him and I going out to dinner, and all of us going some where for an "over-nighter", but we will see how things go. We are starting to deal with the economy in my area. I'll explain more about that later, but for right now, not really sure what to expect this year for Christmas. I think I have mine as I lost my weddings ring, and got an new one, and by golly we found the other one, after looking all over, but I'll probably keep this one or let him have it someday maybe. It's not my real set, but an "everyday" band type ring, my other is "put away". I now actually have three of these things. One he got me, one I got myself, and now this one, only the newest one "fits" decently, which is why I lost them to begin with...OK, I'm terrible on jewerly these days. But yes, I've been into "Christmas" for weeks now.

I don't think there will be a Christmas in our house this year. With being separated it makes everything very awkward! As long as I can do something for Elsie I will be happy!

It is so hard cause I love Christmas and big celebrations. Frown

Well, I never made it Christmas shopping thanks’ to Lyn G who kept me up chatting half the night on msn, Laughing I slept in this morning and in Norwich if you don’t get up early and off into the city for the shops opening you can’t find anywhere to park so I never got to do my shopping, Thanks Lyn for getting me out of that chore, I owe you one. Smile

Cathy, I’m so sorry for your troubles but I’m sure you and Elsie can still have a really nice Christmas, Christmas is what you make it. I’m not keen of the season myself and the fact that hubby is working all day doesn’t bother me at all, now the children are all grown up it wouldn’t bother me if I ate egg and chips for lunch and decorated all day, I would prefer it.

LOL!!! you're most welcome LaughingI'm not exactly ecstatic about the Christmas period either, and I've not even thought about pressies let alone bought any! It's a day when my hubby finally manages to spend time here from his busy work schedule and I just can't wait for Boxing day to arrive and stat going back to normal LOL
