I have just noticed that they have called it The Beast.

Probably have a beastly belly ache after eating it all, but I'd give it a try   .

I am not sure if you are meant to eat it, or paddle it secretly ashore in France to do a raid on St Nazierre. !

LOL @ Ray and Jason!  You guys are a hoot.  That is what I would call a party pastie, although "the Beast" is quite fitting indeed.

To put in my two cents' worth, my favorite pie is key lime and my favorite cake is old fashioned southern coconut layer cake.  Yum!

hi Barbara. What is a 'Key Lime' cake. It sounds good but not very sweet?

Hi Ray.  It is a pie, actually, and you're right about it not being overly sweet.  Properly made, it contains the juice of key limes (from the Florida Keys where it was first made) rather than ordinary green limes.  It is a chilled pie made with sweetened condensed milk, egg yolks, key lime juice and grated lime zest in a crushed graham cracker crust and topped with real whipped cream.
