Favorite pie:  Probably pumpkin or blueberry.  I can't believe you don't have pumpkin pie over there.  It's to die for.

Favorite cake:  Choclolate cake with peanut butter icing or cherry cake with chocolate fudge icing.

Right, I'm collecting your favourite Pumpkin Pie recipe to try at the end of next month.

So either email or put the recipe here if you would.

Thank you Cathy for your well wishes and prayers.

I will indeed try the one on the can, I've heard that it's good.

That's the one I use, Sue.  The only thing I do different is to sprinkle a little nutmeg on top, just before you pop them into the oven.  I also use the 8" round cake pans, rather than a pie tin to make them deep dish.  Otherwise there's no room in the crusts for all the pumpkin mix.  And there's no greater smell, especially on Thanksgiving morning, than pumpkin pies baking.

I love nutmeg, so will grate some on top. And a cake pan, I would not have thought of that. Thank you. I'm quite looking forward to my first slice.

You'll love it, Sue.  And the large cans of pumpkin makes 2 pies, so with three fellas in the house, you might want to make a double recipe.  lol
