I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome 3 years ago, although it took the doctors about 10 years to figure out what was wrong with me, since I had been in constant pain since I was about 9.

It's kinda hard looking back and realizing I've lived 2/3 of my life with this 'thing'. The last couple of weeks have been really hard and I've been cracking down these past few days. Nuno, my boyfriend is a great help but I can't help feeling broken when I cannot comb my own hair or hold up a phone for a minute. Just needed to get this off my chest, sorry.

Hey Nela it's no crime to be ill, but it's no great honour either. Best of luck with your troubles. The guys on this site are some of the very best and will give you every support. Keep smiling and try to look on the bright side. Do as I do and go for a walk through the beautiful English countryside via POE, it helps.Smile

Thank you Wolf Kiss, your support is precious to me.

I know it does and it helps me keeping my mind off the problem as much as I can. It eventually keeps my mind off work too. Tongue out

Having to admit to myself I can't do or bear what other people my age can, because the pain is too strong, just despairs me sometimes, that's all. Well back to work with me!

LOL that's a way to look at it Wolf, you're right! Smile But not pain all the time, I'd like just one pain-free day, that's my Christmas wish every year, it's been 18 years since I've had one.

She'll be apples? You mean work being a piece of cake? I didn't know that expression, it's funny. Laughing

Hi again Peter, thanks for your support.Kiss Hey I have these hard times, but I'll be ok, what doesn't kill me makes me stronger! It's just that sometimes it's hard to cope with this inability to do the most basic ofthings. There's extra-bad phases, bad-phases and not-so-bad-phases; I'm in the middle of an extra-bad one, I know because I've come to the point where I fall asleep while driving and that's the scary and concerning part. But fortunately we're not working on monday, it's holiday here, and I'll get to rest a little bit longer. Smile

You'll be in my thougths too Peter!

I am so sorry to hear about your troubles Maria, life certainly isn’t easy is it, I can understand you feeling down, I think it is only natural you should feel like this at times with what you have to bear on a daily basis. Your boyfriend sounds like a great person and so do you. You are in my thoughts and I hope you are soon feeling a little better.
