Dear Nela, I am sorry to hear that you are suffering. Both my neighbours on each side of me have Fibromyalgia and I can see that it can be really debilitating, so my heart goes out to you.

Try to keep a positive attitude, and let that boyfriend and all your loved ones help.

I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome 3 years ago, although it took the doctors about 10 years to figure out what was wrong with me, since I had been in constant pain since I was about 9.

It's kinda hard looking back and realizing I've lived 2/3 of my life with this 'thing'. The last couple of weeks have been really hard and I've been cracking down these past few days. Nuno, my boyfriend is a great help but I can't help feeling broken when I cannot comb my own hair or hold up a phone for a minute. Just needed to get this off my chest, sorry.

Hi Nela! I am so sorry to hear about this. I do not know your pain but understand the condition. My daughter and I have chronic irritable bowel disease (Chrohn's and Colitis). It is never easy to deal with a long term illness. You have to take each day at a time. I am so glad you have a caring boyfriend to help. My thoughts and prayers are with you always.

Lyn, Sue, Cathy, Ruth, Maria, Diana and Mick, I cannot start to tell you how much I'm moved by your kind and uplifting words. I'm speechless, really. Thank you all so much. God bless!

Although it's a chronic illness I know it won't kill me, and what doesn't kill me makes me stronger. It's just very hard coping with all the symptoms sometimes... but I'll be ok with all your support. Kiss

Hi Nela,

I am sorry this is rather late, but I too would like to add my best wishes for you, and I hope you keep going with your evident courage and determination not to let this illness rule your life.

Regards, Ray.

Hi Nela, Here's another late arrival. Chronic illnesses can really get you down but you sound a brave and resourceful girl. My very best wishes to you and remember, tomorrow is another day!
