Posts: Joined: 1st Jan 1970 | I have watched many people die in the line of my work, some smokers some not, equally painful and slow, death and indeed watching a person die is not very pleasant regardless of whether they were smokers or not. My sister in law died of lung cancer aged 40 and had never smoked in her entire life, I would never encourage anybody to start smoking but think there are worse things I could be doing in life. I ensure nobody breathes my second hand smoke by smoking out doors and never in the company of non smokers. |

Listening to the residents stories and past times, makes me think if we listen to everything that is harmful to us, no one would ever leave their houses and have exciting stories to share |

'What Would We Do Without....' is this thread title, so what would we do without..... pubs and clubs staying open 24/7 maybe??? We'd probably not have so many young kids sinking to the debths of alcholoism thats what. Makes me so angry when people go on about smoking when all that is happening around us! People will say about passive smoking but what about all those idiots drink driving? I don't drink alcohol, and can't stand wine, tastes like vinegar to me lol and I never smoke around anyone else who is a non smoker. |

But what would we do without governments ? Don't answer that.... lol Edited by: Wolf at:16th November 2008 11:41 |
