I've had computer problems this past week - when I switched on I thought I'd got a Boeing 747 in the room!  For a couple of days I had to do without my pc and thought my right arm had been cut off!!  How did we get on before we had these things I wonder?

Computers, cell phones (I don't really use mine, but I do like to have it with me) and ipods.

I am so glad for modern technology.

I grew up with Black and White TV before all of this technology. No air conditioning either. We got along just fine and to tell you the truth I think everyone was a lot healthier for it. We had to use our brains more and our imaginations as kids. We also got a lot more exercise. We were told to go outside and play no matter the weather.

I am glad for technology but I do miss the old days. Undecided

I think I could live without my computer, but don't think of taking my camera !  I think I would actually go thru withdrawal if I couldn't find the camera ! How silly is this !Laughing

Agreed, Beth - my camera goes everywhere with me, if not my SLR, my compact or mobile - I had my bag snatched abroad once, thankfully my mobile was in my pocket - it saved the day, I was able to contact friends and family - I'd had all my money taken so couldn't have used a 'phone box.  Thank goodness for modern technology!

For you American's, a fag is a cigarette and not a homosexual.

I watched a man die last year who couldn't live without his fags, it was a long drawn out painful death, and now he's on the other side craving a fag and not being able to get one.
