I think a cook book for Christmas may be in order Lyn. Sounds Like Emma needs it.

I think I will have Lamb shanks for dinner today. They are cheap and tasty.

As for my health Lyn, COPD can be a bind. But it is possible to live with it.

You know what Peter, your right, a cook book it is Emma. Laughing

Your attitude to your illness is great Peter, I guess when things like this happen we have two choices, give in or fight the best we can. Your dinner sounds nice too, I had a twix!!

The best remedy for any illness is to laugh about it. You wont get better if you worry. Even if I will never get better it is more bearable when I laugh at it, even if it does make me cough. Lol. Just dont ask me to help you carry the weekly shopping.

I think I posted this on here before, but it is worth saying again.

In life, there is only 2 things to worry about. You will either be fit or you will get sick..                           If you get sick, there is only 2 things to worry about. You will either die or you will get better.                If you get better, there is nothing to worry about. If you die, there is only 2 things to worry about.           You will either go to Heaven or you will go to Hell. If you go to Heaven, you will have nothing to worry about. If you go to Hell, you will be too busy shaking hands with friends and rerlatives to worry about anything. So, the moral is, dont worry.

Glad you posted that again Peter, I must have missed it first time, very wise words which I will keep and read often when ever I need reminding not to worry. You are right, laughter is the best medicine even if at times it's the last thing you feel like doing.
