I have just looked at the jar and it says, Cinnamon, Coriander, Ginger, Dill, Cloves and Nutmeg.

DILL!? Never!

Dill is not a spice it's a herb, they would never put Dill in mixed spices, yuk!

What brand of Mixed Spice is it Peter?  Check one more time, just for me, I can't believe they would use Dill, yuk   .

Well all I can say Peter is get thee down to the shop and buy some Schwartz Mixed Spice because Dill does NOT belong in a spice mix.

I don't know, I like them with just the nutmeg, although they'd probably be good with just a tad of cinnamon, too.  I'll have to play around with it.  But I want to make them authentically Welsh.  But you're right, I can't imagine how dill would fit in that particular mix.

Some people dust them with confectioners sugar, but I think that ruins them.
