Obama - the inauguration...

Obama is a product of the corrupt Chicago political machine.I wish him well,but I worry about his incompetence,and his skeleton filled closet.Actually he was not the Dems first option.Figuring the vast potential of minority non voters would jump at the chance to vote for one of their own,qualifications be damned,they figured theyhad a goldmine of voters in which to exploit and recapture the White House.Pelosi and Reid first wanted Rep. Harold Ford,and the Republicans hamstrung his reputation in the previous election with sordid rumors and innuendo(sp) and he disappeared from the list.Next up was the now infamous Ray Nagin,who was hung out to dry (no pun intended) by the machinations of Cheney and the Bush adminstration.Their inaction during Hurricane Katrina and the welfare of New Orleans took a back seat to their political assinations of potential Dem Presidential hopefuls,which by 2005 the Rep.  were certain  the Dems would pick a minority.Such is the way of the world.White voters eager to expunge their 'white guilt' blindly rushed to the polls to cleanse their souls of the sin of racisism,no matter how benign.Game,Set, Match.Kumbaya my friends.Kumbaya.
