I have never done a weight watchers diet though. In Feb when I finish all the work I am just going to cut out all the snacks! When I had Joe I put on a load of weight and I got bigger and bigger in my 30's. Then I found out I had the wheat allergy as well as my ongoing underactive thyroid and I then lost 5 stone. I am always fighting my weight - it is an ongoing battle! You always look gorgeous on your pictures so don't lose too much when you do the diet!!! |

I gained a lot of weight with Elsie because they had me on some medicine that makes you gain weight. Then I developed Hypothyroidism too. And am still on the meds that make you gain weight. It is a losing battle. After losing the 25 lbs when I first joined POE at least I have been able to keep that off. I wish I had somebody to walk with. Makes it a lot more fun. |

It means working harder to lose weight, and I don't want to put in that much effort, so I've been sitting at the same weight for a few years. I like to walk, but I like to walk on my own. My husband walks every morning of his days off too. It's great exercise. |

It's just difficult to get out there during the winter months. Just last week a work mate of mine (who runs everyday) hit an black ice patch and went down. She broke her tail bone and fractured her spine! |

Except our bad season to be outside walking is summer - too hot. Every year I get into a good routine throughout the winter and spring, then summer comes along, and it's even too hot in the morning to go walking. |

Shirley, we used to have a stationary bike, but I prefer my real bike. We have a treadmill in front of the TV, for walking in summer when it's too hot to go outside, but the walk you get on the treadmill just isn't the same as a real walk. I must say that I do get a pretty decent workout dusting the exercise equipment. |
