Be it good or bad, sad or funny, post it here. (Just so we can keep on topic in the other threads! LOL! )

My nephew is 32, married with no kids. I'm a little concerned that his mum claims he skidded on black ice and hit the tree. There was no ice last night!

Thanks ladies.

Well, I'm hoping it isn't what people are thinking. That it is drink driving! I hope he wasn't! As I said though, there was no ice last night, it was not cold enough.  Undecided

Hope things go well for Alan, Barb. You don't sound convinced, I hope that's not a bad sign.

Still Barb, it doesn't have to be ice to hydroplane, it just needs to be wet.

The first thing Police do in a RTA  is breathalise. So you would know now if that was the case.

What ever the cause, he is lucky to be alive and in tact.

My cousin's son was 15 years old when he and a friend decided to get behind the wheel of a car drunk.  They crashed into a mailbox that had been cemented into the ground and he has been a quadriplegic ever since. He is in his 30's now. Never got to go to his prom, never had a first date, never married, no children, no career, etc., all because of one foolish mistake.
