Dark Shadows!

I remember my mom watching that program when I was about 4 or 5 years old. I used to run out of the house and hold my hands over my ears because I didn't want to hear Barbabas scream when the put the stake through his heart. It scared the bejesus out of me! LOL! Laughing

Does anyone remember Ivanhoe (and Gurth)?

When I was a little boy, many years from now (sadly), I always watching Ivanhoe on the box.

The only Ivanhoe I remember is the 1982 mini serises starring such names as Anthony Andrews (Ivanhoe) James Mason, Sam Neil, Stuart Wilson and John Ryse Davies.

My son is reading the book, Ivanhoe, right now, so we watched the above film the other day. It's one of our favourites.

I don't think this is the one you are talking about though Fred.

Some of my favourite TV shows included----The Real McCoys, The Three Stooges, The Jetsons, The Munsters, The Addams Family, The Monkees, Fury, Sky King, Ripcord, Whirly Birds, endless TV westerns such as Cheyenne, Have Gun Will Travel, Wanted Dead or Alive, Wyatt Earp, Johnny Yuma, Wagon Train, Rawhide.  The Man From U.N.C.L.E., The Avengers, Leave It To Beaver, The Andy Griffith Show, and almost religeously on Sunday's, The Ed Sullivan Show. The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson taking over from Jack Parr.
