But it is going to get sorted now, I have had enough. I am onto them today again, as soon as they are 'open for business' and if I don't get a result the balloon will go up! |

I am pleased to be able to report that I have secured an appointment within the next 48 hours....Thursday 5th February in fact!! That's a result isn't it? |

Lawson Posts: 2310 Joined: 17th Jul 2008 Location: USA | quotePosted at 20:33 on 3rd February 2009 That's sad, first time I made it into emergency with an flu bug and bad diarehea, they gave me an IV..drew samples to make sure what it was, and around Thanksgiving this year I was in severe pain and could hardly walk, feeling like spears were being stuck in my side, (kind of like when I past Gall stones one time, can't do that now...they took it out) they monitored my heart, did blood and urine tests, and ended it with an cat scan. Said I had an intestinal infection. Both times got meds and it was gone withint half an day..but those $3,000 bills for it all leaves us an bit weary. Our doctors over here don't want to see you unless it's for an routine appt, they prefer you go to emergency. I have lab tests papers right now...for taking in April...then an apt with the Cardio docotor to be made there after..usally about an week after the testing so they get the reports beforehand. thsi si on going for me at least every six months an sooner for some of the meds as he's trying out different techniques to lower my tygycerides...until one truly works good for me. They claim the only way they are lowered many times is by walking daily/dieting..hard to do in winter.We still have an chunk of snow on the corner from the pre-Christmas snow storm here. |
