Ron Brind Posts: 19041 Joined: 26th Oct 2003 Location: England	quotePosted at 13:04 on 5th February 2009 Well, I'm back home from my hospital appointment and basically I have been told that I do not have anything nasty like cancer, so for that I consider myself fortunate and perhaps lucky. However, I do have a blood cell mass in my spine that is believed to be growing or has grown around a nerve causing the immense pain endured. The bottom line is that they will now get me seen by an orthopaedic surgeon in a 'Pain Clinic' who will be able to identify the nerve, block it and/or dispense medication to deal with it, so whilst I am still in pain I consider myself lucky and look forward to my next appointment.
