I learned that I think I am severly dehydrated!!! I'm having all these minor problems which are turning out to be bigger ones and I finally put two and two together and did some googling and discovered that I am very very dehydrated!

And I can go nearly all day without drinking anything. Just coffee in morning then another cup somewhere in the afternoon and that is pretty much it!!!  Surprised

Wow..I didn't realize what it can do to the body!!! Shame on me!!! Off to the vending machine I go!!!

Krissy, I used to be the same way.  Since I started working out at the gym and bicycling though, I've learned the importance of proper hydration.  There is a small coffee room/kitchenette next door to my office and I keep a Brita pitcher in the refrigerator.  I also carry a reusable plastic water bottle (mine is a Rubbermaid) in my back pack every day and keep it on my desk.  When it gets empty, I refill it.  If you like flavored water, Crystal Light and some others have those little tube packets you can add to your bottled water without adding calories.  So, drink up, girl!

Krissy I spend about as much time on what goes in my mouth and keeping an flow going through the body as I do taking heart pills and doing excerise....not enough water, your have trygliceride problems, and elevated cholestrol and blood pressure problems, swelling,..to much water, you rob your body of vital vitamins and minerals, and it's all learning to balance it all out. It takes the longest time, and everytime you about have it, your pills are changed on you so you don't stagnate their effectiveness. I have constant lab tests for liver problems. Not to mention that even shopping is hard with the water tablets I take some days, the stool softeners I take daily. When you have to "go" you don't dilly dally around. I am not suppose to ever be sick..no colds, no flu, that sort of thing. It costs me around $2,000 to $3,000 for such illnesses, that most people get rid of with over the counter medications... even if insurance pays most of it, we still get stuck for 20 per cent of the costs out of pocket...that' $400 to $600.  If I bump into anything, I turn bluish with an instant bruise, if the kitty scratches me, I bleed for an hour. All from the medications I take daily. It is an daily "job" to take my mind off of all this and just "live" and smell the roses so as to say, take the time to laugh about things. I never get to forget what my alternative is also..death..instant for the most part. so I keep chuggling along and keeping my brain off it all and try to do what I'm suppose  to reguarless of the weather, expenses, tiredness, pain. Always hope for an better tomarrow. I heard the Dai lama say one time that when we are born, we are born inferior in some way and we spend most our entire lives learning how to cope with it...it tests our spiritualty many times...our faith... but every day we strive to overcome it, and for many we do in ways eventually...death is an certainly that we all sooner or later, hopefully later, we have to deal with. Make each monent of your life worth the breath you take. Good adice. He said this by the way from an young kid that was "gay" trying to corner him in an stand on bieng gay. I think he was expecting to be reprimanded, never thought he'd probably say that we each and all are born with something to "overcome" in our lives...we spend much o four lives doing that also.

Krissy, I am a big Fruit 2/O drinker.  I can't stand plain water but I find it easy to suck down two or three of those a day along with other various drinks.
