Well, I try to keep them not so often if I'm going to make them longer so you each have some say in here. My dear freind of many years lost her only son, having lost his father in his yourth leaving her with little kids to raise on her own, I was over there quite abit right after an drunk driver had taken his life..he lived longer, as an veggie more or less, until he did die..she ran out of money to pay for his nursing costs, so they "let him go"...my other dear friend I stayed with through Cancer, and her pain with it..occasionally she'd break down and say "Shirley help me if you can, please!..I never knew quite what she wanted though.  Her daughters called me at 2 or 3 in the monting and told me she had quietly died that night...I guess I should of told Sephaine that in the post about the mother/child she wrote. then I have two other memories of young kids that have died, they were neighbors, one was my son's close friend, whom moved later on and they had to separate..we saw a bit of them afterwards, but the distance was to great..we lost contact, I saw his death across the front of the newspaper one morning, (at an teenage party at local college, he "fell" over an balcony to his death..his mother wonders about it) as I saw the nieghbor gal on the other side of me on the news, something had went out in her car and she and three little kids went across the divider and under an huge 18-wheel truck before the whole works exploded. My memories of these kids were intimate ones..trying to sooth their heart ache at the time for things going on beyond their control. Never in my wildest dreams would I thought I'd see them making the kind of news that they did. I think the young boy's grandfather died within an week or two, most likely "distraught"..he was an judge in downtown Portland, an dthere was an obituary for one describe him ot an tee in the paper.   I've nearly lost my son also, his car blew up on him in our driveway from an gasoline leak. I was within "hours" of nearly taking the extra batting out underneath the hood someone had put in his Shelby and was to lazy to do it that night. Had it not been there he'd probably lost his life instead of his car. I had neighbors an block away runnning  up wondering what had blown up..followed by an full fire department an demergency crew..some of them lost dishes in the china cabinets also that lived closer. No, there's times when all the things you want to say  just don't "fit" the situation and how you really feel. It's really hard to take an younger kids death..most of them had everything to live for...even with any problems they might of had.
