Luckily for me I get a huge plastic bag in the mail from the Lupus Foundation so I fill those up and they pick them up at my door!! Easy peasy!!!

You got that right, Shirley!

Krissy, once again, a common thread between us.  I also get bags from Lupus and the Vietnam Vets for donations.  ....lemon squeezy!

Hey Barbara, Thi is off the subject but i have not told you this but you have a twin here. This girl i work with i swear you and her could be sisters! I showed her your picture on here and she freaked out because of how much you guys favor. I will have to send a picture of her if i can somehow link it to a message. Her name is Linda and her mother and father are from Germany.

No kidding!  Imagine that.  I'd love to see her picture if you can get it.  Amazing, isn't it?

I understand Richard..really..I do...my husband is kind of like that in ways...but there still isn't enough room in his area either. OK..people,,,some of the things I do around here, I store bedding on top of bedding ..and between matresses from one season to the other, I try to find decorative storage boxes for as many things as I can so they can do double duty as containers and end tables or coffee table, or something to sit on, I hang stuff also, wire baskets in the kitchen for veggies, use coolers outside for storing soda pop/fresh veggies. Double high storage containers..twice length, with an tablecloth over it (or bed sheet) makes nicelow room wall dividers. You can also use the top of it for items also, such as plants perhaps, dishes, etc. Ifyour in an absoulte "pinch" for room, make an leather seat for over yourbathubduring the day in the bathroom and store an under it in waterproof containers there also. Bike..hang it on the wall in your bedroom. same for other sports equiptment. I hang an lot of clothes on the walls for decoratingthrough the seasons also, esp in the kid's room. I've seenthem though in the case of T-shirts" with scenes on them made into pillows also. If you take an pair of blue jeans and cut down the front on each side to the croutch, and this works nicely if they have front pockets, in an U shape, put binding around the e dge, and two long ties and instant apron. the pant legs can be made into ladies purses or carry all's. One reason I have many cookbooks, and I like the decorative picutured ones, is because they work well for decoration and themes throughout the year also. Hang your pots an pans if you can from the ceiling, stack them inside each other along the fireplace if they are cast iron. Extra teacups?...glue them, cup to saucer, to an wooden rod in an bottom plate and stick them in your garden with bird feed..don't forget an tea pot also...right smack along the border of your prettiest summer flowers. Good for mis-matched items. Anything can be made into an water fountain.  anything can be made into an flower planter. Place sitting small chairs on the wall..nail ro hanger and put an planter of flowerson them that trail down a bit. When you have extra guest over put the pots outside and use the chairs. We made an outisde along the house from upper level to lower level dirty clothes shute out of furnance ducting. It comes down and opensup to an door just above my washer an dryer...it will hold two house levels of dirty clothing. It's stainless steel, so it can be washed if need be by unhooking it from the house at the bottom outside, and we put it high on the wall in the master bedroom bathroom to keep liitle kids from playing around it. It easily takes the size of an pillow...we have an swinging door on it's enterance to push the clothes down it. I wish I had an similar operation for re-cycling containers off my kitchen sink window...well anyway, that' some of the ideas I use around here. I also would rather buy an room sized rug for $30 every three months or so and use it then to have to continually clean my carpeting..I use the rug, if it's useable, for outside patios in the summertime. When it gets dirty enough, it gets tossed out. Cut up they work well for walkways also...flooring for tents. Keep to netural an simple colors if you do this though.  also work well in the bed of trucks for hauling stuff so you don't scrtach your  truck paint. I think that does if for about now.

Jason you just made my day!! I love a home that looks lived in!! First off having depression does not motivate you to clean. The other problem is having ADD and trying to clean. You start out at one spot and in ten minutes have been in fifteen different spots and don't remember what you were supposed to do in any of them!!!! So you get frustrated and put it off til another day! The whole thing is so overwhelming that it never gets done! When given one specific project I can usually manage to be quite organized. Once you throw another one in I'm cooked!!! Yell

Cathy..did you ever hear of FlyLady?? (flylady.com) It's this cool website for us who can't get organized or motivated to clean! It's gives you baby steps and zones within your house to do!! Like this week will be zone 5 which will be the bathroom and one extra room to get organized!! It's fun!! I've joined!

Oh I forgot..it also addresses how to deal with housecleaning with depression. Very interesting and very encourging!!
