There's a folk singer who sings songs about Millom.  And that's all I'm gonna say on the matter.  I'm not into folk singing

Scarborough Bluffs~ Toronto, Ontario

Bruce Cockburn ~ Coldest NIght of the Year

I was up all night, socializing
Trying to keep the latent depression from crystalizing
Now the sun is lurking just behind the Scarborough horizon

And you're not even here
On the coldest night of the year.

I took in Yonge Street at a glance
Heard the punkers playing
Watched the bikers dance
Everybody wishing they could go to the south of France

And you're not even here
On the coldest night of the year.

Hey look at me now
See the shape I'm in
It's taken me so long to catch on to what's going on
Inside this skin
When two lovers really love there's nothing there
But this suddenly compact universe
Skin and breath and hair

I watched the all night TV show
In the all night bar
I drove all the people home
I was the one with the car

Now I'm sitting here alone and sleepless
and wondering where you are
And wishing you were here
On the coldest night of the year

Can't think of any Songs, though I always like the "Green Green Grass of Home," as sang by Elvis Presely. This town was named after an man that was found in an field as an orphan...though an postmaster I guess named it such. I can think of plenty other songs that would also describe it, but it's an town of memorial also, with the west end of it, the cemetary and funeral home, and churches...can't go through town without passing it.  I was doing genealogy on some people one time and by golly what comes up this town's cemetary...nice color shot of it, just about where my an friend's only son is now buried...hit by an drunk driver. We now have tow main streets, the old part of town, and the new one...if the economy holds up that is.
