I like the name Bouvier, Rhett, but I can see where you got some ribbing for it here. If you'd been in the U.K. it probably would have been more well received.

I don't know about that, Diana. Bouvier sounds awfully French to me, and you know how the English and French are about each other.

I think Bouvier is a very romantic name Rick - but I agree with Sue - you would have been ribbed here too when we were at school. Think it would be accepted now. I have an ancestor who was a male named Shelah. That must have been hard!
