Jackie Kennedy's sister "Eunice" just passed away at 88 years old...was in today's paper. They have relatives here live in West Portland you know...I think they said from an remarriage of her parents at one time.

My son I named Gerald William... because my hubby's name is "Jerry" and he never like the informality of the name...and he has no middle name. But at my son's birth, I had my hubby there,(Jerry), and the docotor (Gerald), and the nurse (Jeri) ..and ran into another two before leaving the hospital. They all singed my son's baby book. Willam is an old traditional family name on both sides of the family, if not several others sides as well. My hubby's oldest brother, hubby's father's name, and my uncle's name and granfather's name, on my mothers side. Yes, it goes back to William the Conquorer days also I guess as to the name of William. Gerald is was an famous "poet" friend of the Queen's at one time, whom lived in Matrix Castle in Ireland. this kid of takes in my California relatives also...and the Masonic/Scot-Irishness...my son is truly an delement the binds the tie to many.

I am so glad your an Diana and not an Phyillis...I have an cousin Phyillis, but I've not seen her in an long time, so I have no idea where she's at or what she's doing. We had an bookeeper at work named Phyillis one time though also. My neice's name is Diana, and I have an cousin named Diana...the latter after the 50's era I think, as we haven't any family I know of by that name...though I'm still into researching the lines. Spencers may be related to me...as an aunt's lineage. Not sure as of yet. My neighbor's name growing up was "Sue" Perry. Though I think formerly she called herself "Lynn" as she got older. Her daughter's name is Cheryl Lynn..between her and my sister and I we represent three towns in Massachuestts...Lynn, Beverly, and Shirley, Massachuestts.

This Spenser name is connected to the Hill family line , the maternal side was Larkins/Murphy family (my mother's side) they m. Hill family m. the Lawson's of my hubby's side..that' s why I have them listed as to finding out ther originals in England in the genealogy thread in POE. My neighbor down the street her daughter "Nicole" looked an like an twin, last time I saw her,  to Lady Diana. Her aunt recently passed on of MS, at an very young age also. I use to work with their mother at an retail store many years ago..her name is Lelya..not sure how they spelled that. The house was originally the grandmother's home.
