I just think its a little self important to think we are been prepared for some big purpose, I think we are serving the purpose now! just as every living thing serves its own purpose! we can't see and i don't think could ever see the big picture, we just can't stand far enough back. Space is infinately big, or so we think, its bigger than we can see anyway, so its a fair assumption that things become infinately small too? if this is the case, it would be impossible for a tiny tiny organism to be aware of its purpose, the constituents of a cell would have no way of ever knowing they were part of a human body. Ok i know a cell constituent, that we know of, would not have free thought, due to make up etc.. but it does make you think if we are all part of a bigger thing, not waiting to pass over to it, but doing it now! our energy is doing what it should right this minute! But hey back to the thread only humans seem to reflect like this i think!! but i'm not worrying where my next meal is coming from, i don't have to go out and hunt it, its sitting in the oven cooking! straight out the freezer! |

If humans did not try to achieve then we would have gotten no where..no progress! So I think as humans we should progress wether it be for material things, intelluctual, spiritual peace of mind or just the basics like providing for our families. Don't you want the absolute best for your family? I have no doubt you do therefore you achieve all you can to do so. Right? |

I was speaking to the lady who is living in the house where we are hoping to move. She said that she believes that what will happen will happen anyway so she just waits (which is highly frustrating for me at this moment in time!). I thought I believed that too before but at that moment I realised that I am not the sort of person who waits for changes - I always put my all into trying to make things happen. |

I think we can make things happen to a certain extend, but what will be will be still. We can maybe sway things a little to work our way, but the important things still seem to happen. And Krissy ... true maybe, but although humans have achieved a lot, where has it really got us? if we keep going the same way we will need another planet to feed off surely? and your right, maybe thats our plan, maybe we are designed to suck the host dry, move on and start again, just as some diseases act. We are an intelligent species, and that intelligence has a high demand on resources, just like a power hungry gadget. |

I believe that things happen when they are to happen but if an oppourtunity drops in your lap then one should do something to move forward with it!! If the situation needs to "simmer" for a bit then ok but I think we have to make change happen. It's like being at a fork in the road. You need to know which way to go...are you going to wait for a passerby take you by the hand and lead you or are you going to make the choice for yourself and get a move on? Jason...I think we need to think on a very small scale. Maybe this is our time, our generation to reverse the affects we've had on the earth. We can, we have the resourses we just need the mindset...and this is were our greed gets in the way. No time, no effort, no heart. That will be our downfall as a human race...maybe. |
