Hubby went in for his surgery, got out of it and had an bit of nasty time of that, but he's home today here with me, been sleeping most the day. Just ate some dinner, eating very lightly. Hard for him to move around as of yet. Goes back to see the doctor come one week later...end of next week, until then looks like we all have to pitch in an help him His older sister called him and O'Donnell, our scout master this morning, so he got some conversation in that way with others to perk him up, the dogs have been by his side and he got an "Get well" card from the grandkids and one from his son and wife also. So I guess things are looking up pretty much perhaps.. It will most likely be an laid back lazy weelkend here as its been raining most the day here. Tons of leaves on the street. Anthony might be back over tomarrow to babysit an bit for us also...he did an good job last two days in this house of people constantly coming an going and seeing to it everyone was where they needed to be at the right time...fed and ready to go.

Hope he is alright Shirley - my husband has got to go for surgery on Monday - if he has shaken off the cold.

Hi Stephanie, you're up early!

I think we have a spammer if you look at the postings.  Is that something you can do something about?

You must have gone to bed Ruth while I was logged off for a while. I am up early - struggling to sleep these days. Found them, deleted them and locked the threads - thank you Ruth!

Yes, Steph, hope that doesn't bother calling you that, let me know if it does...I'll go back to Stephanie...your rmore then welcomed to call me "shur" also, many people do....but anyway, he's looking better each day, had an good breakfast, but again an light one, pancake, fried ham strips and scrambled eggs and coffee. I'm doing double duty right now in his work and mine. trying to not over-do things myself. Kids been going places during the day to stay out of the house so he can rest some. Suppose to go back to work tomarrow..see how things go.

I made it to the produce stand, they decided to stay open another month.. got me another 25 pound bag of potatoes, I'm making potato soup I think today..use an chicken broth base. (keep it light) bacon or ham, and celery/onion..the ususal....you know what I mean. I have apples galore riping on me right now also, could stand to make an apple crisp also. Day so far though makes me want to be lazy.

Hi Stephanie.  Sorry I missed you  the other night.  You get up just as I'm going to bed (when it's 6am your time, it's 10pm here.)  I'm glad you were able to take care of it though.  Those spam posts are creepy.

Hope all is well with Terry and the boys.
