My hubby went to work this monring hobbling from his surgery, but he has an office job, I told him, take it easy and if it gets to much, come back here...little at an time. Though I think getting out and being with others if he's not "pushed" will do him good in recoverying, he's never been much of an sitter type.I have an permanent burn scar on my wrist from an oven one time, baking cookies. My sister in-law had an hot glass coffee pot explode on her and scald her down her legs..she was really bad for an while before healing. It takes time, but they came out with some new stuff I see helps erase much of the scarring. You can get it it in over the counter pharmacies. I've already lost my temper this morning, the kids around here, many from California refuse to wear coats, it's October, it is POURING down rain right now....all the younger kids want to follow these so called older "kewl" kids from California, where you never need more then an sweatshirt at most.. I get so angry. She's already missed 6 days since school started being "sick"...they gave her an "F" one of her school projects for it. I need to send Krissy over here, she's an mother, maybe she could get some sense in their heads about things.Boys listen, don't like it but they will listen sometimes..the grand-daughter don't...she's older. Grandmothers are taken for granted I guess. Krissy, send me some good type "mother" vibes to this girl's head about being practical will ya? Other then that..its an OK day so far.Wanna go back to sleep for an bit with everyone gone this morning. |

Terry has had his operation - in a lot of pain but he is home. Better go and resume nursing duties as well as half term referee duties etc etc. |
