Hang on in there mate..... As for those who throw the eggs, its a pity they couldn't be forced to go hungry for a while, they might take a different view of things. But in reality, b....y yobs, numbskulls, skumbags! |

Stephanie, my heart goes out to you and your family and my prayers go heavenward that your housing situation will soon be rectified, that Terry will recover quickly and completely from his surgery, and that your cough and pain will heal quickly and completely as well. You are such a dear person and deserve only the best in life. We love ya, girl! I don't know what possesses kids to do such destructive things as throwing eggs at houses. Pity you can't force them to clean it all up. Halloween isn't until tomorrow. Do they start early over there or are these just a bad lot all the time? |

In the old days, cars would get their windows soaped and maybe an egg or two but that's it! It was always fun! |

As you know, it's thoroughbred country, loaded with horse farms and, of course, thoroughbred racing. Such lovely creatures they are. |
Krissy Posts: 15430 Joined: 8th Jul 2008 Location: USA | Posted at 13:55 on 30th October 2009 I would love to visit there to see those thoroughbreads!! They are amazing athletes! You normally don't think of horses as athletes but they are!! I wish I worked in that field!! |
Barbara Shoemaker Posts: 1764 Joined: 4th Jan 2008 Location: USA | Posted at 14:00 on 30th October 2009 They truly are athletes. You see some breeds of horses that are big and strong and such, but seeing these thoroughbreds up close they're like dancers or something, smaller and lighter than you would think of a horse being, and very graceful. I'd be happy to muck out stalls to be around them all day. |
