I love watching Dressage!  What sort of horses do they use for that?  I used to work for an attorney years ago who rode Dressage.

Danish or German Warmbloods, Hanoverians, and Holsteiners. Warmbloods are the most popular.

My aunt is in the equine business. She has clients who are looking for horses for dressage and she will fly to Europe and search for one, test it and buy it for them and ship it to the states!!! Now, she is a top notch Dressage instructor and judge.

Oh I miss riding soooooo much! Barbara, you should come to NJ and we can go to the National Horse Show!

Hi Krissy!

I don't know anything about the equine business but I do know I love the feeling of being around during dressage, the riders, the horses, etc. It's very genteel. :-)

I also enjoy polo.

Yeah, I saw that picture of you in drag, Ron. May I say, you make the ugliest woman I ever did see. ;-)

Hi Diana, Ron, Anna!

The National Horse Shoe sounds wonderful! When is that? In Lexington, they were busy preparing for the upcoming international equestrian event of some sort.  A big deal, apparently.

Why do you not ride anymore, Krissy?  If too personal, no need to respond.  I haven't been on a horse for over 25 years and that was a "dude ranch" horse in Colorado.  But I think they are just brilliant creatures and one of God's most beautiful creations.

Diana! I love polo too!! And the whole horsey set! I can see myself wearing Burberry and having a Jack Russell terrier!

Barbara, I've been riding since I was four up until I was in my 20's. It just got to be too expensive. If you rode at a stable, they were making riders "rent" horses for the summer show season on top of paying for lessons. And those rates were insane!!!  But, if I could do it again, I would. It's like oxygen for me!
