Roll on the General Election! |

Snow skiing event? Christmas is Christmas..leave it like it is, if someone doesn' t like it, then they can overlook it. I dont' like doggie poo in my yard either but it keeps the animals alive an well and happy. Rather in my yard then my house. I think people are finding stupid reasons for changing things these days. Weird..now that was just plainly wierd to think of it like that. You know the hispanics can't fit in... because they had to separate them due to alledged discrimination when we asked them to talk in English..we gave them thier own upteen tv stations, and changed directions for doing everything in Spanish to where now they never WILL "fit in". They have in the name of human rights made themselves outcasts. It must be an money thing..as most of them in Mexico in the resorts speak affluent English..besides Spanish.

He wouldnt accept anything from me saying,"It is your festival,I give you for your festival". As he believed that the proper gift was food and drink, that is what he gave me. This included a bottle of wine, that is against his religion to drink. He was a Muslim. Someone told me that he had a "Festival" a few weeks later, and he greatefully accepted a gift from me. He was not offended by my Christmas celebrations at all, like I was not offended by his. So where the heck do these ideas come from? Edited by: Peter Evans at:10th November 2009 22:52 |

Jason, you've got to be kidding. If that isn't PC carried to the extreme, I don't know what is. But I don't let it worry me. I just carry on as I always do, and challenge anybody from this land of freedom of speech to stop me. I say "Merry Christmas" and always will. If it offends someone and they let me know, I won't say it again to them, but it's not going to stop me from wishing others Merry Christmas. If I knew somebody was Muslim, I'd wish them Happy Ramadan. If I know someone is Jewish, I wish them Happy Hannukah! It's common sense, it's live and let live. I don't think there's anything non-PC about a little sense of fairness and common sense. |

" Luke 2:14 Yes, that really IS what CHRISTmas is all about. It's a mixture of many different traditions from our diverse and beautiful world, but the origin and spirit of Christmas is the story of the birth of Jesus Christ, whether you deny that fact or not.

A litle respect goes an long ways I guess. I think these ideas come from people can' t think of anything else to do for change, because perhaps they are bored by life in general...don't wan tto seem to appear for or against any issue..and that' s impossible at times. We all have our individual ideals in life. Freedom is equailty for everyone to do as "They " wish..not to make others do it also...unless perhaps its for the common good. That' swhat we argue all about..what is the common good? We seldom depart from the way we were brought up...and to me Dec. 25th is an Merry Christmas Seasonal. I can live with other thoughts, as long as they can mine I guess. Respect. |

With the idealogy that you live in abundance daily...and share with others..there is never going without. Where they fall short I think was the act of slavery in thier captured perhaps. An evil this world has no need of ..but persists in some manner even unto today. |
