Hi everyone !   Had an odd experience this morning.  I woke up around noon when the alarm clock I found on the bed went off; though was 20 mins fast when I checked it. Nothing too unusual there perhaps bar---1) its rarely used and never on work days; 2) thus its rarely wound up, and 3) never been set for noon, and 4) I don' t keep it on the bed !

But, at 11-40 this morning, off it went and there it was.

Maybe you should install a camera, Paul, to be sure you aren't sleep walking?  Maybe you set the alarm. Lol. Wonder what a psychologist would say about that? Lol ;-)

Folks a Joke on me!

Yesterday i wanted to share some time with my gran daughter becky so i took her to dairy Queen, to order a new item they had advertised.

We drove up and Becky gave the order two  Winds" please.

Winds? asked the girl, Becky was blown away at this reaction, (and she didn't  yet have the wind in her hand)

I said you know the new item you adverised in the paper! my voice rising with impatience.

After a moment or two of discussion between us the girl's eyes lit up

she suddenly got it! O," she said, with a smile "You want the new Breeze " Becky laughed out and said, thats alright gran, thats want you meant right. She has promised to keep our little secret, but we laughed all the way home. What can i say? I was close enough.

Lol! Great story, Rita. You have a terrific sense of humor. It's important to be able to laugh at ourselves, isn't it? :-)

Could be Paul - I had a few strange sleep walking experiences when I lived alone which were very worrying and amusing! One morning I woke up and went down stairs to find my back door wide open. I had 3 internal bolts as well as the lock and they were open. I searched round to see if anything was missing but nothing was and I concluded it must have been me - but I hope I wasn't doing anything embarrassing in the garden & I hope the neighbours didn't see me! Another time I woke up and toilet roll was trhown in big banners all round the bathroom! It certainly is a mystery!

Good morning all! Hope you have all recovered from New Year celebrations!

Hello everyone! Am recuperating from great day of snowball games with the kids on the street here(age 3-12) which we played in the new snow yesterday. LOL...am feeling it today. A great time was had by all of us, and it surely brought out the neighbors to enjoy it all...most of them were spectators, which is fine also. Good 'ole neighborhood fun. Hard to come by that nowadays..Cheers to all.

Dropped my oldest off at the airport yesterday    .

His flight was cancelled, and now it is going to take two days to get him to his new base. He is supposed to report to his base today,

Nobody told me that being a mother could be so hard. I confess to crying when I walked away from him at the hotel, and I am crying now as I think about it.

Tomorrow I say goodbye to my other son.

I expect to be an emotional basket case for at least a week  .

Hello all!

Sue, I can only imagine how distraught you must be. My prayers are with your boys. Feel free to come here a vent if you need to. That's what friends are for. xoxo
