I just looked up an bit about the country, says it was important in both World Wars as it was the battlefield in both of them many times. It's people, 98 per cent Roman Catholic, have had to rebuild it both times. It has changed over hands many times...this encyclopedia is so old, I'll have to do an "google" and see what it has to say...or find your history on it. It does sounds like its been the "cross-roads" to many other nations through it's history. |

We eat our chips with a wide variety of sauces. Mayonaise or ketchup but we have a lot of others like 'andalous, pickles, look (a garlic like sauce) some (like me) eat it with a warmer sauce with meat in it or Hungarian Goulash. Yummie !!!! |
