That would be Billy Fury. I believe that he was from the same area of Liverpool as Ringo Starr.

Okay, here goes.

Does anyone remember Reginald Alfred John Truscott-Jones, born in Wales in 1907 and died in 1986? He once served with the Household Cavalry and became well-known for a particular line of work involving the visual arts.

Who was this man?

The first time I saw Billy Fury,he was on Sunday Night at the London Paladium. He came on dressed all in black leathers, holding his crutch singing "Goodness gracious great balls of fire". The Queen was not amused. Lol

I am feeling quite a bit better thanks Ron.

Of course, one has to ask if the Queen is ever amused!

Royalty and real-life in collision--gotta love it!

I think she is old-stock 'proud and proper' English Diana, its the way she was fashioned, thankfully her Grandsons and future king do have a sense of humour. I think even Charles has a laugh now and again lol.Smile
