My grandkids are home today, President's Day you know, holiday. They can come up with some of the cutest things at times. The age from 6 months to just about three years old is an darling time I think. They are their most innnocent, and daring then...life is for learning, and they really need thier "papa" during that time. Hold them for "security" if need be...and yet let them have an "taste" of life. Mom's and dad's are still at an "No" age most of the time. So they need the help of an "Papa" in their little lives. Whom else would let them have an perfect manicured tulip from the front flower bed?

Hello...I was just surprised unexpectedly...earthboppin.net closed down, I'm still trying to decide if this is the truth, or what is really going on..it was kind of an major functioning on going web site daily. I can not imagine what would shut "Ryan" down like this...esp so suddenly with little to say about it. Just weird. I'm stunned.

Stephaine, if you could see all the houses going up for foreclosure sales this next mid-month...right now they are selling nearly $200,000 less then what they are worth. They are taking auction bids on them starting at $25,000 for one bedroom one bath ranch homes(in an retirement community down near Woodburn, Oregon) on upwards to $153,000 on $400,000-$500,000 four bedroom, three baths homes. You would defineately be in some kind of an house. I take it these are "short sell" houses, where by the people lost their jobs and have no income to make payments, so instead of forcing them into bankruptcy, they are going to sell them for what they can get out of them and the Govt is going to sanction (write off) the rest of the cost on the loans... so the people walk away out of debt on them.

Things are really topsey turvy right now over here. Almost to an stand still in an way. We had an murder in town over the weekend also, an county sheriff's deputy killed his wife instantly as he shoved her out an side door of our only adult (decent type) restruant in downtown last Friday night, then 30 seconds came in a side door and shot her friend in the face, killed her instantly...then shot her sister in-law in the back, she was in critical condition..then walked out and killed himself. He filed for divorce but they said that they were thinking of reconcilling the marriage..and he and his temper apparently were so well kept from the public because of his police job, only but an few knew he was going overboard with things apparently...they really don't have an clear motive for it but the either the divorce, or he lost his mind and went beserk. That has the whole town standing still in dis-believeth also. Several of the people were well known citzens, the neighbors are crying over it as they interviewed them, said they had never seen thm even so much as yelling at each other, the relatives are crying, as they can't beleive it happened, they had four kids 13 to 23 years old. One of the gals that worked, her boss broke down crying on the news. They said that they were some of the nicest women, people whom would help anyone that needed it. Decent, well respected in the area. Known by everyone. Last couple of days have just been crazy ones.

Going to earthboppin daily was to me like going to pick up the daily newspaper in ways. I don't know if he did this over this thread yesterday where someone said that Sarah Palin was the "Whore of Babylon" or not. Maybe she wants to be in politics, but I think it would be better right now if she stayed away from it. Which leaves us to politics....Congress is all but an stand still...apprently there are so many "cliques" within the system, they can now balance each other out to where "no decisions" can be made on runnig the country...while Obamma smiles and signs off more money....that isn't there...and the public well knows it.  These are looking to be at least this week, VERY turbulent times.

Sorry, but you can only "ignore" it all for so long... before saying something about all this. Say an little prayer for us...things have gotten out of hand. I close this by saying this should be in the middle of winter...Feb 16th...my pear tree is budding out, I can see the white blossoms peeking through...an Camilia next door is in full bloom....my lilies are nearly thing high in growth. This should not be until at LEAST one month from now. We will surely get an freeze if not an storm of some kind, should about kill our food supply if we do for next year. It is to be 60 degrees here later in the week, but with autumn (gusty) type winds...and it reminds me of in the "end days" when it says there will be four seasons in one. I am much concerned right now. So I may take an few days off myself and see if I can get things picked up and back to normal from all this...something is very out of sync. Talk to you all later on...... Blessings to you all.
