The 'Dirty trick Brigade' appear to be active again lol. Why cant the political parties and their supporters try to gain votes in an honest way ? Its aproaching general election time again and the dirty tricks department of the present shadow cabinate are scraping the barrel by trying to make out that there is a 'bullying' atmospere in the present government department. The 'gutter press' are sugguesting that even the prime minister is a bully. to make matters worse, the wet behind the ears political journalists from the media are trying to make living pumping out this tripe on every news bullitin to fill in between adverts.

it is of course sensationalisum trying to sell a book just published by one of their kind. God help them if they had Allan Sugar as a boss! They are also trying to involve a confidential anti-bullying charity saying that someone from the government PM's office has contacted them. Its no secret that Conservative MP Ann Widdicombe is Patron of that same charity. Its also well known that these offices are staffed by well-paid civil servants, many of whom are Conservative supporters.

Do they want a 'soft' PM, a 'yes man' governed by a commitee, or do you want a PM who is prepared to rant at his staff to get the job done . i know who I want!

How do you know he didn't bully the staff Michael? I guess the truth will out eventually because if it's lies there will be a Court case, if it's the truth  you won't hear anymore about it, that is until the Tory's or UKIP have been elected to run our country!!

PS: Not a Labour man by any chance are you? Lol

That being the case Michael you'll take a look at the Tory's, Lib/Dems, UKIP, BNP, Save the world party Lol

Doesn't follow the flock? I wish I was a fly on the wall in your voting booth! Lol

Currently, I think 'open minded' would suffice.

and you think a vote for the BNP bootboys or UKIP is the answer? Lets take a look at Ukip -

UKIP

The United Kingdom Independence Party (which also uses the expansion UK Independence Party, commonly known as UKIP, pronounced /'ju?k?p/ roughly yoo-kip) is a conservative, eurosceptic political party. Its principal aim is the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.

UKIP currently holds thirteen seats in the European Parliament and two in the House of Lords (the latter due to the defection of Conservative peers). It also has around 100 local councillors on principal authorities, town and parish councils. It claimed a membership of 16,300 on 27th November 2009

May 2009, the Guardian newspaper reported that UKIP's leader, Nigel Farage had said in a speech to the Foreign Press Association that over ten years as a member of the European Parliament he used nearly £2 million of taxpayers' money in expenses and allowances, on top of his £64,000 a year salary

UKIP accepted over £360 000 in donations from bookmaker Alan Bown and Nightech Limited between 2004 and 2006. The Electoral Commission took the party to court over the matter, as Bown was not on the electoral register and thus not allowed to make donations to a political party. A judge in Westminster Magistrates Court ordered the party to repay £14,481. However, after an appeal by the Electoral Commission, the party was ordered to repay the full amount. The total costs for the party are estimated to be over £750,000 when counting in legal fees.

i rest my case lol

Why pick on UKIP, why not do the same for all the parties? Then consider how much has been spent in the name of 'fairness and motivation' and I suspect you will come to the conclusion that they are all out to feather their own nest no matter where they come from, or what they profess to be doing in support of us, the electorate. In my opinion they are all a bunch of b......s!

In any case I think you will find that UKIP now have some 550 candidates and really COULD form a Government.

I say do lets get out of Europe and start trading again, as in the old days with Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and kick Europe in the same place that our fathers and grandfathers did in fighting for freedom.....know what I mean Michael?

Just my eversohumble opinion, but things started going a bit wobbly when you folks began to be ruled by the continent. Labour simply handed everything over. The great nanny government knows what's best for you. Sort of like what we have with Obama only on a larger scale.

We were all mislead when we first joined Europe - it was purely supposed to be a union of nations coming together to allow free trade.  However, we are now gradually becoming more and more politically integrated and if Europe does not get the result it wants first time (as with Ireland) another vote takes place until they get the result we want.

I quite admired Gordon Brown until he backtracked on his promise to give the people of this country a Referendum.  Thankfully, he did not take us into the Euro.

I love travelling and seeing different cultures by the way and I am certainly no Europhobe or racist - quite the opposite.  However, free trading is totally different to political union.  I would also like to add that whereas this country seems to abide by the rules (absurdly so in cases of interpreting the Human Rights Act) much of the rest of the Continent turn a blind eye.

This country is one of the biggest contributors to the European Union by the way.
