As for a proper American version - I occasionally put on Terrys one that he bought in LA - he loves hats and collects different sorts of hats! Went to the races (horses or dogs)? |

Probably in the hot of summer though. I find that hard to do with little kids around. I never know when they are going to crawl into bed with me, or get me up in an state of "emergency for some reason" or another...for that reason I often sleep in the new pantsuit like PJ's these days ..I don't know if they have an name for them or not. With my long outter coat I can take someone that may of missed an school bus out the door in an snap...and not get arrested..for indecent exposure. I had an friend one time, got arrested, in her purple house robe taking her son to school two blocks away in her car...she was sooooooo embarassed. One hot summer day I had taken an bath and put on my long white cotton flowing gown and laid down on the sofa,in front of the fan to nap, and I woke up to little Shaun and Steveie there staring at me, they apparentely opened the door and just came on in looking for my son...and I laid there awake, but with my eyes shut listening to them...Gosh, she's pretty...you think she's dead or something?..she's not moving exactly...Naw, she's like the princess..I think they call her sleeping beauty...she might not sleep as long though, I don't see no posioned apple...maybe we ought to go...yeah, let's go jump board with our bikes. After they left I locked the front door shut and laid down some more chuckling to myself. Back then we had 27 kids in an one block direction which ever way you looked. You learned to do things like lock the door, and open the window..... so if any of them were screaming outside, they'd wake you up immediately. ......Last time you fed the ducks at the local park. |

Keeping the drawers from being messy is an on going thing all the time around here with the grand-kids constantly growing. Last time you whistled when you worked?..smiles* (I have an tropical bird and we whistle "talk" and talk-talk" to each other all the time. He blows me kisses now, with an "smack" sound...we "chuckle" about things together, he really gets into that and bobs up and down as he "chuckles"...and he's always good for an "love you!"..he is bright red with side feathers of royal blue and tipped in black..sub species of an parrot, he's smaller being an "Lory"..about the size of an crow..if you happen to have an "mated beeding pair, they are worth $3,000) |
