Yahoo home page has 175 pictures....roads sure took an beating in this flooding. Hi guys..parrots..I have my mine own...he's an "Lory" I wish I could afford an nice mate for him, but I could probably get an honest good prostitute for what one of these birds cost...really!!!.... Yes, he's an fancy bright colored red with royal blue side feathers and black/blue tail. In the meantime I put two parakeets beside him and tell him they are "the kids" so he has an family life of an sorts...doesn't feel all alone. Gotta do what you gotta do these days you know. Today is indeed April Fool's Day, isn't it...almost forgot. they say that everyone is an "fool" when it comes to Love!...how poetic. Nice day and the sunshine was welcomed here earlier this morning. Trying to make up my dinner for Easter, so I can go buy what I need for it tomarrow...it will be simple this year. My foolishness so far appears to needing an Tv set that plays widescreen DVD's so far. As I bought the grandkids one chocolate Easter Bunny each and each an DVD movie from an shop that is relocating, and had every movie in the store on sale for or 60 percent off. I bought "Escape from Wtich Mountain" (Disney), "Sapce aleins vs monsters"(semi-cartoon) ..recent release...and "Night at the Museum"...for an total of $25. I thought it would impress my "tight-wad" hubby I was being thoughtful about budgets right now...as he's with the general "scared of the future days ahead" with others...so about $10 per grandchild is getting off pretty good these days...when the candy alone could cost nearly that much for an decent chocolate bunny rabbit alone. I hope your all around to hold my hand come "retirement" days.....I wonder at times..how you spend no money at all...and still "live" daily. |

Anyone get caught for an April Fool yesterday? Is there anywhere in the World where it is NOT raining/sleeting/snowing today? Wishing all on POE a very good Good Friday. |
