I spent the weekend at a place called Ishapore on the River Ganges where the English had established a Rifle Factory in 1802.The Factory is still in operation.A friend of ours who works there lives in an ancient 'bungalow' dating back to 1904.Very interesting place.Local fauna includes huge snakes,king-size mongoose,jackals etc. -how's that for wildlife? I hope all my friends had a great weekend and wishing everyone a perfect week ahead. |
