Yesterday we closed on our old house and handed the keys over to the new owners, a young couple buying their first home! The young woman described it as her dream house--it is a lovely brick Cape Cod with a large yard and lots of mature trees. Of course, there are aspects of the old place that we will miss, like the fact that our kids grew up there, but we are so happy with our new home that it wasn't that hard to let it go. The new owners want Shirley to come back in the Spring and give them some pointers on the large English garden in the front yard that she planted and tended over many years. Stephanie: So glad that you love your new home! Isn't it fun? Rick: Glad to hear things are settling down for you! |

I shouldn't be here really - so much to do I better get going now! Rob I know you will be happy in your new home and I am glad you have sold your other home to such a great couple. I do hope we can eventually sell ours too. We have not moved in to the new one yet - busy getting it ready! Rick, I remember those views of the snow capped mountains from the ad picture - can't wait to see the new home! Mom is in alot of pain still and very sleepy. We will pop to see her on Mothers Day. |
