Hi there everyone.....Ron, Yes...after listening to several well known chef's on tV....you cook the ribs about three hours, on low or 325 degrees... so they are "fall apart" tender....then you slather on the BBQ sauce, turn done the heat and let them sit so its thick and gooey on them...and add more to the side in an dish, but unless they are "fall apart" baked, then they don't fall apart easy enough for dipping into the sauce and smacking your fingers an bit. I like to brush off the fat on them and maybe put them in chunks of meat if I'm going to let them sit in the BBQ sauce an bit...I think they go really good with fresh baked yeast dinner rolls, coleslaw and baked beans and ice tea also this way...fresh corn on the coblets...for an outdoors meal. If your doing pork chops, don't cook them as long. The chef also says an good secret if outdorr BBQ is ot stack them on top of each other so the fat as it cooks off melts over the top of them, keepign them moist, then add the BBQ sauce toward the end...but keep them stacked on each other...keeps th emoist in them so they are real tender.

Farm guide came out today for over summer on all the farmer market produce this year, and organic veggies/fruit...you can call ahead and buy them in bulk in many instances for canning or freezing. Berry season is upon us. Everyone is recouperating from having the weekend off recently for Memorial Day...lots to do as everyone gets back to "werk" as they say. St my house we are washing the clothing.  I did an bit more of the upgrades of the back pation though by getting an new table out front. This rain needs to stop an bit, I have so much painting that needs done right now. Little bits here an there to perk things up. Besides my pants look like the rain beat them down into the ground around here, esp, my "pear" tomato plant out front. Iam having to re-plant my zuchinni also...bought me an veggie roasting basket for the BBQ though yesterday....keeps them from falling into the grill. Very good buy I might add.

I just found out geneaolgy wise that President George Washington's Reverand was my grandparents back on my mother's side...or else someone wrote it up that way.  I'm checking into that right now also. No wonder the family had been in the Masonic Lodge...everyone knows they were, they just didnt' know quite how as to the beginnings. Mrs. Washignton's first husband's family m. into the Davis family. My grandmother back was an Sarah Ann Davis m. Jereimiah Reed. Larkins. Well, I better get going for now...catch you all later on.
